When people think of branding, they often picture a logo first. And while a beautiful logo matters, it’s just one piece of the puzzle.
For me, my brand is about the feeling people get when they discover Jessica Rose Photo—whether they’re scrolling through my Instagram, visiting my website, or seeing my work for the first time. The visuals I use play a huge role in creating that connection.
My Own Branding Journey
I recently went through a full rebrand for Jessica Rose Photo, and it was the perfect time to do it!
With a new studio space, fresh business goals, and a clearer vision of how I wanted my brand to be perceived, I knew my old branding no longer reflected where I was heading.
It wasn’t just about updating my logo; it was about creating a cohesive look and feel across everything—my website, social media, marketing materials, and even the way I present myself online.
I approached Amy at Design Warren who completely understood my vision and helped me to bring out the best out of my brand and give it the lift it desperately needed.
With her direction and the constant reminder that I needed my brand to appeal to my IDEAL CUSTOMER and not choose features of my design because I liked them, she created something really special that I’m proud to have represent my business.
Brand consistency builds trust.
When people instantly recognise my style and feel a connection to Jessica Rose Photo, it reassures them that they’re in the right place.
That familiarity makes them feel more confident in choosing me to capture their most precious moments.
For me, a strong brand aesthetic is about more than just a logo—it’s the feeling and consistency that make Jessica Rose Photo instantly recognisable. Here’s what helped create that:
Brand Colours & Fonts – Sticking to a cohesive colour palette and typography kept everything looking polished and professional.
Photography Style – Whether it’s soft and natural or bold and dramatic, your images should reflect your brand’s unique vibe. For me, it’s all about timeless, light-filled moments.
Consistent Editing & Filters – Using the same tones, lighting, and composition in my work ensures that my photos feel cohesive across my website and social media.
On-Brand Content – From my website to my Instagram posts, every visual element feels like “me” and aligns with my brand’s storytelling.
Personal Touches – People connect with people, which is why I make sure to show up in my content with high-quality branding images that reflect my style and personality.
Branding isn’t just about how things look—it’s about how they make people feel, and I want every part of Jessica Rose Photo to feel warm, welcoming, and timeless.
Why Regular Branding Shoots Are Essential
A one-off branding shoot is great, but if you want to keep your brand looking fresh and up to date, regular photoshoots are key.
This is exactly why I introduced The Keepsake Club for Businesses—an easy way for business owners to access professional branding photography on a consistent basis without the stress of big upfront costs.
With The Keepsake Club, you can book 2, 3, or 4 shoots per year, spreading the cost monthly so you always have fresh content for your social media, website, and marketing materials.
It’s the easiest way to ensure your brand stays relevant and cohesive, no matter how your business evolves.
Is It Time for a Brand Refresh?
If your brand feels outdated, inconsistent, or doesn’t reflect where your business is heading, a branding shoot (or regular shoots through The Keepsake Club!) might be just what you need!
Let’s chat about how we can create images that truly align with your brand and help you stand out online!
